Ion Detox Foot Bath

  • Ion Detox Foot Bath $40.00

Soak your feet in an Ion rich foot bath for 20-30 minutes, detoxing your system of acid waste build up, leaving you feeling lighter with a greater sense of well being.

HOW THE ION FOOT BATH WORKS

Generating Ions

An ion is a charged atom that has gained or lost an electron which creates a magnetic field capable of attaching to and neutralizing oppositely charged particles. These neutralized particles are extracted from the body through the process called osmosis. Osmosis is a scientific term that is used to describe the movement of particles through a membrane from an area of lower concentration to an area of higher concentration. In this case, the higher concentration refers to the ion field that is set up by placing the array into the water while running the unit.

The array is placed into the water alongside the hands, feet, or body while the power supply delivers a low level direct current to the array. This causes the metals with the array in combination with water and salt to generate positively and negatively charged ions by separating oxygen and hydrogen in the water.

The practitioner determines the polarity setting through the use of litmus paper (pH strips) or muscle testing. We speculate that ions generated by the Ion Foot Bath travel through the body attaching themselves to a multitude of toxic substances, thereby neutralizing their positive or negative charge. It may be possible to reduce pain and other symptoms caused by a lifetime of toxic buildup in the body (assuming the symptoms are caused by toxic buildup). The long-term effectiveness of the Ion Foot Bath detoxification process depends on other life-enhancing changes a person is will to make.

THE MEANING OF POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE

For the purpose of Ion Foot Bath discussions, positive and negative relate to electrical rather than chemical phenomena.

When the Ion Foot Bath is set to positive, the current is directed to the positive pole, which results in the production of more negative ions in the water. Therefore, a positive polarity generates a negative ion flow which, we believe, raises blood pH from acidic toward alkaline.

When the Ion Foot Bath is set to negative, the current is directed to the negative pole, which results in the production of more positive ions in the water. Therefore, negative polarity generates a positive ion flow which, we believe, lowers blood pH from alkaline toward acidic.

Approximately 95% of people in this culture experience a state of acidity; that is, their bodies contain an excess of hydrogen ions, and their blood pH is lower than 7.45. These people will greatly benefit from exposure to high concentrations of negatively charged ions. However, we have found through muscle testing that most people prefer a mixture of positive and negative ions in each Ion Foot Bath session.

COLORS AND OBJECTS IN THE WATER

Many colors and objects appear in the water during Ion Foot Bath sessions. There is a reaction between the toxins and particles in the water, the salt added to the water, the metals in the array, and the acidity or alkaline of the person being bathed. All of these combine to produce color, whether or not feet are in the waters. The basic color produced by these reactions varies from one geographic area to another.

It is important to understand that the water will change color even if the unit is operating without feet in the water. The basic color change is a result of the reaction between all of the variables in the water and the array, as discussed above. This color change will vary in accordance with the toxic and chemical components of the water ad air given a particular geographical area.

The toxins in our bodies ill look the same as the toxins predominant in a specific area; however, these will be more toxic particles in the water with feet in it. You will also find that water-based toxins will not stick to the side of the bucket and array, whereas substances pulled from the body will form a sticky ring that must be removed with a detergent.

However, through many tests, we have found that the residue in the bucket is easily rinsed off if the unit operates without feet in the bucket. In addition, the residue produced while a person’s feet are bathed has been found to stick to the bucket and cling to the array. The bucket will then require some type of scouring powder or soap in order to be thoroughly cleaned.

We have also found that person’s detoxification session will override the geographical toxicity of the water. Based on EAV (Electro Acupuncture by Voll) testing, the following table shows what we believe the colors in the water to represent:

Color or Particle

Material or Area of the Body

YELLOW-GREEN

Detoxifying from the kidney, bladder, urinary tract, female/prostate area.

ORANGE

Detoxifying from joints

BROWN

Detoxifying from liver, tobacco, cellular debris

BLACK

DARK GREEN

Detoxifying from the gallbladder

WHITE FOAM

Our Therapists

Each of our massage therapists is professionally educated and certified by nationally recognized schools. Each therapist can educate and recommend to you the type of massage you may need at the time.

Therapeutic Massage techniques are employed to relax and tonify the musculature and to increase the blood and lymphatic flow throughout the body. This increased flow helps bring nutrition to the cells, as well as remove waste and toxins which have accumulated in the body, thus promoting deep relaxation on the physical, mental, and emotional levels. Massage techniques are described below.:

Swedish Massage is a blend of hand movements using body mechanics, along with depth, pressure, speed, duration, rhythm and continuity to affect the body’s response to touch. Swedish massages is the most widely known and prescribed system in the United States.

Trigger Point Therapy is a massage method that isolates a hypersensitive area of the body. Work is done with sustained digital pressure on the isolated point to relieve pain and discomfort. Trigger point therapy is used between other massage strokes when localized pain is found.

Deep Tissue Therapy uses slow strokes, direct pressure, and/or friction. The procedure is applied with greater pressure and to deeper layers of muscles than Swedish Massage.

Hot Stone Therapy – hot therapeutic stones are placed on specific body points to enhance relaxation during massage. Stone therapy delivers a much deeper body treatment for the client and assists the therapist in providing a warm relaxing environment for the client.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils for physical and emotional healing. Fragrances affect the olfactory sensors in the brain that influence memory, learning, emotions, hormone balance, and even basic survival mechanisms. Essential oils are extracted from healthy living plants worldwide.

  • Touch-Up Treatments $100.00 & up

A touch-up is a color re-enhancement. Receiving a permanent make-up procedure is a process and at least one follow-up evaluation should be scheduled to determine whether a touch-up is necessary. A touch-up within the first 45 days after the initial procedure is included in the total paid the day the procedure takes place. A touch-up is not always necessary, but always available.

Permanent Make-Up

Permanent make-up is a process by which our esthetician implants in the dermis layer of the skin a small amount of pigment to create an illusion or enhancement where hair or color is missing (such as eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner and color).

Permanent make-up is ideal for all women regardless of lifestye. Just imagine waking up with a presentable appearance that won’t smear, wear or rub of, no allergic reactions, and save on Department Store Cosmetic purchases. Owner, Monica Paul, is trained in SofTap™, a permanent make-up system that does not use a machine, but a series of aligned prongs inserted at an angle depositing pigment into the skin. This procedure manually pushes pigment in with varying pressure depending on the skin thickness. The pigment is deposited with a soft tap, hence the name.

Common Permanent Make Up Q&A

Yes. The same pigment I use for permanent make-up has been used in tattooing for centuries.
I am very concerned about the safety of my clients. I only use disposable needles that are sterilized and individually wrapped.
If you have an allergy, especially to nylon or Dacron, I will do a pigment test before any procedure.
By blending another color of pigment over the original color, you can get the color you desire.
Your new eyebrow shape will be based on your own preferences combined with my expert suggestions for a classic look that will never go out of style.
Permanent lip-liner is usually applied following the natural contour of your lips, but can be altered to your personal preference. This replaces the need to apply lip-liner, you will only need to fill in with lipstick, which requires very little time.
The line is soft and natural in shades that blend with your own lip tissue, making your lips look fuller.
I topically numb the area first, although some people experience minor discomfort during the procedure. This is often described as a stinging or scratching sensation, which subsides as soon as the procedure is over.
It depends on the person. Usually a light crust will form during the first couple of days, then it will fall off within the next 3 to 5 days.
For the first few days, you will look like you are wearing heavier make-up than usual and sometimes the crust is slightly visible.
Definitely yes. This will allow me to see what your preferences are. Combining your personal preference with my make-up expertise and suggestions will allow me to get the perfect make-up look for you.
Depending on each individual skin type, activities and everyday sun exposure, average time is four to eight years.
I do consultations by appointment only. There is a $35.00 fee for a half hour consultation, which will be applied to any permanent make-up procedure, should you decide to purchase one.
